Dipp is an independent service that records periodic Amazon.ca prices in Canadian dollars. It exists to answer a practical question: is today's price meaningfully better than the prices we have already seen?

What makes Dipp different

We do not treat a crossed-out list price as proof of a bargain. Product pages retain Dipp's own observations, identify the lowest price we have recorded and show when the current price was last checked.

How the service is supported

Dipp participates in the Amazon Associates Program. If you follow an eligible link and make a qualifying purchase, Dipp may earn a commission. That does not change the price you pay. Discounts, rankings and price-history claims are derived from tracked data rather than commission rates.

Accountability

Prices and availability can change between checks. We label timestamps and limitations instead of presenting a snapshot as a guarantee. Read the tracking and ranking methodology for the definitions used throughout the site.
