Friday, November 27, 2026. Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon.ca usually opens its Black Friday deals several days before the Friday; Dipp gives the exact window here once Amazon announces it.
Are Black Friday prices on Amazon.ca the lowest of the year?
Not reliably. At Prime Big Deal Days in October 2026, 23% of the 5,317 products Dipp tracks hit a new recorded low, far more than in an ordinary week (3-5%). But 81% of the products that dropped were back up within two weeks. Compare a Black Friday price with the October low in the product's history before deciding it is the best of the year.
Does Amazon raise prices before Black Friday?
Not that Dipp saw before the October sale: 20% of tracked products rose 10% or more in the two weeks before Prime Big Deal Days, the same as before ordinary weeks (19-21%). Individual products still do it, which is why every deal here is measured against the price Dipp recorded, not the crossed-out one. The same check will be published for Black Friday after it ends.
Does Dipp run the sale?
No. Amazon runs the sale. Dipp tracks Amazon.ca prices in CAD and reports where the event price sits against prices it recorded before the event, which is the part Amazon's own page cannot tell you.
Is every event deal a good price?
No, and that is the reason this page exists. A discount is only shown here when the current price is at least 20% below a comparison price Dipp considers credible from brand or recorded-price evidence.
